Starcraft 2: Terran General Warfield

The unique artwork for General Warfield is based on the multiplayer marine artwork with various improvements. The entire right arm is based on the cinematic design seen at the end of Wings of Liberty with some artistic liberty used to make it look more iconic as game art. The left shoulder is a more cinematic-accurate redo, the boosters on the back are more cylindrical than the low-poly multiplayer marine, and finally the head is a custom replacement using Warfield's likeness.
This model was on and off the chopping block multiple times during HotS campaign development as we struggled to find the best moment for Kerrigan to finally interact with Warfield.
